Hiatal hernia occur when a piece of fabric protrude from the stomach into the esophagus. The gastric reflux is where you get the gastric juices into the esophagus.

Both conditions are very uncomfortable and can cause severe damage to the lower esophagus.

I have a hiatal hernia can have all the symptoms of GERD, and is responsible for the operation. GERD is treated with drugs to keep things under control. A hiatal hernia is diagnosed by special tests, a chest CT. (cat chest)

What is GERD?
Your stomach full of acid. His goal is to digest the food you eat. Believe it or not, this acid, the acidity of battery acid. Your stomach is built to produce the acid control. However, the esophagus is not. So when acid backs up into the esophagus, a burning sensation known as heartburn cause.

Almost everyone has occasional heartburn. But if these symptoms occur two or more days per week for at least three months, so you can gastroesophageal reflux or acid reflux. Acid reflux occurs when the lower sphincter of the esophagus (the valve between the esophagus and stomach) does not close properly, allowing acid back into the esophagus.

GERD is a chronic and can lead to conditions cause serious medical problems, but it is treatable. In this section, learn the causes and Communicationsthe symptoms of GERD, a disease that is more prevalent than people think.
If left untreated, GERD can erode your esophagus and cause damage.

My friend has actually diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux. Hiatal hernia is where it connect a gap in the membrane of the esophagus and stomach. This allows the stomach really grow in this space to force the acid into the throat. GERD is when your stomach is very easy if you eat interfere, allowing acid to rise ... Symptoms vary, but for my fiance, usually as a belch acid in my throat, belching a lot (wow, smell like death, especially when eating the salad) and sometimes vomit so much, very Bad Acid. Although there is no cure for hiatal hernia, has, with the exception of surgery, my friend learned, their symptoms controlled with diet, how often and how much. Very rarely do they have to take medication for, and if it does, and takes the fight against the pill like Prilosec. There are also natural remedies for the symptoms of GERD, such as vinegar, apple juice, and this thing called the Defense acid, but do not know how well tried (my friend acidity and defend the shit then) two days later. BeingThe first thing to do would be to consult a physician about a treatment that for you, because you know your body and how it behaves. We hope you feel better!
